We have some exciting developments going on in and around The Hollies this summer. Starting in the middle of June we will be extending The Hollies.
The idea of this is to give the residents more space, more amenities and to enjoy what The Hollies has to offer more. To start with our current disabled bathroom will become our hairdressing salon, giving us a bigger and better salon. The current salon will become a resident’s shop, where the residents can go and buy what they need from a snack to a birthday card. We will be building onto the back of the home a brand new disabled bathroom which will be adapted for all the resident’s needs.
We will be adding the exciting feature of a coffee shop to the building, which will be available to residents and their families when they want it and will offer a range of teas, coffees and snacks. We will be installing large bi fold doors in order to make this room open out onto the garden. This room will also be used for staff training and entertainment when required.
The extension will also bring two new en-suite bedrooms on the first floor.
We apologise in advance if any of the building works disrupt your visits to The Hollies, we anticipate it lasting around 12/18 weeks and that the works are going to benefit all of our residents and their families.
