Christmas Lunch Outing
On Tuesday 9th of December we had a fantastic meal with the residents and some of the staff at a local countryside pub “The Ship Inn”
Once again the food was fantastic; turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding and a glass of sherry if desired. With the aid of our minibus and new adapted car transport was not an issue and a good afternoon was had by all.
Christmas Jumper Day
Christmas Jumper Day on the 10th December was a success, with all the staff in competition for the best Christmas jumper, judged by a residents after a quick festive fashion show. The winner was Jackie Chapman who without a doubt put the best effort into making her sparkly jumper one to be proud of!
On Wednesday 17th December we had our annual Christmas Party for residents, staff and their families. Guest where treated to a buffet, drinks, music and even the special karaoke appearance by our very own Peter Rogers. A massive thank you to Peter & Helen who organised the event for everyone.
Christmas Day as always was a great day, Peter & Helen arrived to give out presents to the residents which included their very own The Hollies personalised calendar which got brilliant reviews. A lovely Christmas dinner was cooked by Katie our head chef and enjoyed by the residents. A big thank you goes out to everyone who worked over the festive period.
